FRAGILE

I am so pleased to announce that Mac 2 have finally come up with a name for our film!!!!
Bookmark this as a significant day in history, we may have been the last group but we got there in the end after searching for existing films which have already have infringement rights on titles like 'Paranoia'

Fragile - We chose this title as it reflects the idiolect of the protagonist. We wanted it to be one word as one word film titles are often effective and powerful like Se7en and Orphan.

and here it is our sixth draft - with the title of the film included!

Draft No.4

Its getting there but still a long way from where we want it to be, we have almost finished just need the production company and to fix the credits.
We have finally changed that  boring unwanted canvas background, and we have recently had a rethink about our decision to rebel and break the 180 degree rule (at 0.55) It is a bit of an ambitious move to make it could actually work with our psychological confused genre, however our task only covers the first two minutes, we could argue that this is a little too early on in the film to be adding abstract elements that would potentially baffle the audience and we couldn't quite come up with as many reasons it needed to justify our technique so its CUT.
We have used Foley sound of fireworks and loud explosions to replace the fireworks sound from our original footage.
Finally we have used a zoom out an fade to white to add 'closure' to the opening.

Third draft of Our Film

We have decided to take away the sound of a can opening simply because it has no significance to the opening or the rest of the film.. originally we wanted the sound of a camera flash it relates to the agitated, crazy characters in the film.
We have smoothly edited a long montage of shots to create continuity and it is neatly complimented by the non- diegetic sound of the fantasy music.
The credits are basically non existent we just left the default title settings when arranging where we like them to appear and we will alter some of the footage to enhance the colours.

Ooo Second draft

I watch it and i just think how amateur, i wonder what other people must think.. However i have to recognise that there is method to madness (literally). We took so many different shots and angles, we found it hard to decide which were the best to include, so we just dragged all the main shots together and already its way over 2 minutes.. We have so much to do, but we can see it starting to take a nice form even though all we have now is a very, very rough outline.
..Need to do something about the sound we could leave the natural noise of the cars passing but maybe lower it and manipulate it to sound less harsh it might work, though we should probably play it safe and use Foley sound or even simpler just music.

Proud Producers...

Our editing techniques have pulled together to create the first 41 seconds of our film opening, we are pleased with what we have so far the stand alone names is an interpretation of films we researched such as Coraline - which goes with our genre and most contemporary films today.
