Prelim Editing!!

I don't understand why I'm stressing out already and we haven't even gone on to the actual Film Construction.
Maybe it is because we haven't gotten on to the the construction of the real media product! we are working far too slow everyone else has finished and uploaded and Miss Foster is expressing concerns about our laid back approach, better shape up and knuckle down to some editing and finalising, lets get this prelim out of the way.

180 degree rule?#

I have found a beneficial Youtube video explaining the 180 degree rule, it clearly illustrates how to adhere to the rule and how to effectively use this to aid continuity in the editing of our films and how editors challenge this rule and adhere to this rule in films and TV dramas.

The Amazement is UNDESCRIBABLE!!!

Now, I know this is an advert but when I first saw it, I was amazed at all the different range of camera angles and proffessional shots, its acctually mind boggling, how can yuu film a fork dipping into egg yolk 0:24!!! really inspired.

Films, Films, Films

In today's Lesson Miss Foster showed us film openings by past AS students of a different school; We learned to watch them with a critical eye, we also began analysing the different camera angles they used and the smooth editing techniques used to get full marks. I left class with the daunting thought that very soon, my group will have had to make an opening film sequence which is at the same standard or even greater!

I really have to start tapping into my Media Mind and get ideas together on what genre and story line would be good to use for our Film opening.
